Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programmes, as well as several Post-Basic Nursing specializations.
ND/HND Nursing Admission Requirements
Candidates seeking admission into the ND/HND Nursing programme must meet the following requirements:
- Score a minimum of 180 in the 2025 UTME (JAMB).
- Possess five (5) O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings.
- Accepted examination bodies include WAEC and NECO.
- Required subjects are:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Candidates who did not initially choose UBTH College of Nursing Sciences must complete a Change of Institution through JAMB.
- Upload O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) before admission processing.
Candidates offered admission must accept their admission on JAMB CAPS, pay the required acceptance charges, and print their JAMB Admission Letter.
Post-Basic Nursing Admission Requirements
Applicants seeking admission into any Post-Basic Nursing programme must:
- Possess five (5) O’Level credits in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Obtain the credits in not more than two sittings.
- Be a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Have at least one year of post-registration clinical experience.
Post-Basic Nursing Application Fee
The application fees are as follows:
