Qualified candidates seeking admission into the university are invited to participate in the screening exercise scheduled to run from 1 June 2026 to 5 July 2026.

The online registration portal for the LASUED Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise will be open as follows:

LASUED Post UTME Eligibility Requirements 2026/2027
To qualify for the online screening exercise, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
UTME Candidates
Candidates must:
- Choose Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) as their First Choice institution.
- Score a minimum of 185 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Direct Entry Candidates
All Direct Entry applicants, especially NCE holders who selected LASUED as their First Choice institution during the 2026/2027 Direct Entry admission exercise conducted by JAMB, are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before 1 October 2026.
O’Level Result Upload Requirement
Only candidates who successfully upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) on or before 17 July 2026 will be considered for admission.
First Choice Institution Requirement
Participation in the screening exercise is strictly limited to candidates who selected LASUED as their First Choice institution.
LASUED Admission Requirements 2026/2027
Candidates seeking admission into Lagos State University of Education must possess the following qualifications:
O’Level Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of:
- Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects.
- Credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
- Results may be obtained from:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
- NBAIS
- GCE O’Level or equivalent examination bodies.
The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
UTME Requirement
