The University community and the general public are hereby informed that the deadline for submission of Post UTME applications has been extended to September 30, 2025.
All other requirements for the 2025/2026 admission exercise remain unchanged.
Eligibility Criteria
UTME Candidates
Candidates must:
- Have selected COOU as their First Choice Institution in the 2025 UTME.
- Score a minimum of:
- 200 and above for:
- Law
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Medical Laboratory Technology
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- 150 and above for all other courses.
- 200 and above for:
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry candidates who chose COOU as their first choice institution are also required to register for the screening exercise through the prospective student portal using the Direct Entry application option.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000.00 via the REMITA platform.
Payment can be made at any branch of:
- Fidelity Bank Plc
- Zenith Bank Plc
- Eco Bank Plc
Alternatively, candidates may pay online using their ATM cards.
Step-by-Step Application Procedure
- Visit https://coou.edu.ng/admission/
- Click on “Prospective Students.”
- Select “Generate 2025/2026 PUTME Invoice.”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Click “Sign in” to generate your invoice.
- Make payment at the bank or online via ATM card.
- Return to the portal.
- Re-enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Apply Here.”
- Fill in your Date of Birth and other required details.
- Upload your O’level result(s) to JAMB CAPS at an accredited CBT centre.
- Upload the following documents (each not exceeding 50KB):
