TASUED Post UTME 2025/2026: A Guide to Admission Screening

The Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has officially announced its 2025/2026 Post UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise for prospective undergraduate students. This mandatory online screening applies to candidates seeking admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Pre-Degree Studies (PDS), and Direct Entry routes. The exercise is designed to ensure that qualified candidates are properly assessed in line with TASUED’s admission standards.

Eligibility for TASUED Post UTME Screening

To be eligible for the 2025/2026 TASUED Post UTME screening, candidates must have selected Tai Solarin University of Education as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 160. Applicants must also be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025. In addition, all TASUED Pre-Degree Studies students who successfully completed their programmes and met the UTME requirements are eligible to apply.

Direct Entry candidates, including TASUED JUPEB applicants, must have obtained the Direct Entry form from JAMB and selected TASUED as their first choice institution. Such candidates are also required to submit copies of their Online Admission Screening Report and Diploma or NCE results to the TASUED Admissions Office at Ijagun.

Method of Application

The TASUED Post UTME application is conducted entirely online. Prospective candidates should visit https://v4.tasued.edu.ng, click on Apply Now, and select Undergraduate. Applicants are required to create an account, validate their email address, and pay a non-refundable ₦2,000 application fee online. Candidates must carefully complete all stages of the application form and upload their O’Level results using the Online Result Verification System (ORVS).

Online Screening and Grading System

TASUED conducts an online self-screening exercise where candidates can check their eligibility for their chosen programmes and print a screening slip. Screening is based on a point grading system, which combines UTME scores and SSCE grades in five relevant subjects, as outlined in the 2025 JAMB brochure. Candidates whose O’Level results do not meet programme requirements may be advised to change their course via the JAMB CAPS platform.

Important Dates and Contact Information

The application and screening process runs for 21 days, from Monday, 21st July to Friday, 8th August 2025 (midnight). TASUED emphasizes that it has no admission agents, and candidates should direct all enquiries to admissions@tasued.edu.ng or the university helpdesk.

Conclusion
The TASUED Post UTME 2025/2026 screening exercise is a crucial step for candidates aspiring to study at Nigeria’s premier university of education. Prospective applicants are advised to adhere strictly to the guidelines, meet all eligibility criteria, and complete their applications within the stipulated period to enhance their chances of admission.
