University of Maritime Studies Oron Post UTME 2025/2026: ND Admission Requirements and Application Guide

  • Maritime Transport and Business Studies: Credits in Mathematics, English Language, Economics, Geography or Commerce, and Government, Financial Accounting, or Business Management. UTME subjects include English, Mathematics, Economics, and Geography/Commerce/Government/Accounts.

All O’Level results must be obtained within the last five years and in not more than two sittings.

Medical, Physical, and Other Conditions

Due to international maritime standards (STCW ’78 as amended), applicants must be physically and mentally fit. Shortlisted candidates will undergo comprehensive medical screening, including blood tests, drug and alcohol tests, and general health assessments. Applicants must also be single throughout the duration of the programme.

Age limits apply:

  • 16–21 years for Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, and Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 16–25 years for Maritime Transport and Business Studies
