O’Level Requirements for UNIMED Admission
Candidates seeking admission into 100 Level or 200 Level must possess at least five credit passes in:

- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
The results must be obtained in WAEC, NECO, or GCE in not more than two sittings.
However, candidates applying for:
- Medicine and Surgery
- Dentistry
- Doctor of Physiotherapy
must obtain all five credits in one sitting only.
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Direct Entry candidates who selected UNIMED as their first-choice institution or are willing to switch to the university are also eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
Applicants with the following qualifications may apply for Direct Entry into 200 Level:
- Cambridge A’ Level
- JUPEB
- IJMB
- ND
- HND
- Bachelor’s Degree
Candidates with A’Level qualifications must possess a minimum of 10 points, while ND/HND/Degree holders must have at least a Second Class Lower (2:2).
All Direct Entry candidates must also satisfy the required O’Level requirements for their intended course of study.
Submission of Academic Transcripts for Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants are required to request their official academic transcripts from their previous institutions.
