Admission Requirements for Lagos State University
To be eligible for admission into Lagos State University (LASU), candidates must meet the following requirements:
- O’Level Results
- Obtain a minimum of Credit in English Language in their O’Level results.
- JAMB CAPS
- Upload their O’Level results on the JAMB CAPS platform before the closure of the Admission Screening Exercise.
- Indigeneship Verification
- Prove their claims of Lagos State origin to the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) set up by Lagos State University.
Steps to Apply for LASU Post-UTME Screening
To participate in the online screening exercise, candidates should follow these steps:
- Log on to the LASU website https://services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening/ and click on the Post-UTME registration link.
- Fill in the required details and upload the necessary documents.
- Carefully preview all details supplied and certify that they are correct.
- Click the “I Certify” button to confirm that the screening decision is final.
- After submission and successful completion of the online screening, candidates will be redirected to the Screening Homepage.
- Enter their UTME REGISTRATION NUMBER and click “DOWNLOAD RESULT” to generate their SCREENING report.
Payment Details
The LASU Post-UTME screening form for 2024/2025 is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000), while the registration fee is One Thousand Naira Only (N1,000).
Grading System for Admission Screening
The screening of candidates for admission will be based on a Point Grading System, which considers the UTME Score and grades in five (5) best relevant subjects from the candidate’s SSCE (or equivalent).
