NMU Post UTME 2024 Registration

The NMU Post UTME 2024 registration has been announced. This will begin on the 5th of August, 2024 to the 30th of September, 2024. All interested applicants should read through this article for guidelines on post UTME registration, screening and eligibility requirements.

NMU Post UTME 2024 Registration

Eligibility:

  1. All candidates who selected NMU as their first choice institution in the concluded 2024 JAMB and scored above the cut off mark are eligible for post UTME.
  2. Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).

Cut-off Marks:

  1. Nautical Science- 175
  2. Marine Engineering- 175
  3. Electrical/Electronic Engineering- 175
  4. Maritime Transport and Business Studies- 160

Physical and Medical Fitness

  1. Physical fitness: All candidates are expected to be physically and mentally fit to be able to withstand the rigours of the cadetship training.
  2. Medical Form: The Medical Examination Form (Form M) is available on the application portal for the candidate to print out. Before being uploaded to the site, this form must be properly filled out and signed.
  3. Medical Laboratory Test: This should be undergone in a Government Hospital. All test results should be uploaded on the portal.

Marital Status

Candidates must be single and remain single throughout the duration of the programme.

Age Limit

The age limit for applicants is between 16 and 25 years of age.


NMU Post UTME 2024 Registration Guidelines

  1. Go to the application site online.
  2. Click on Admission – HND/ND Registration Portal.
  3. Login with UTME number and JAMB Score.
  4. Generate RRR.
  5. Choose your Mode of Payment from the list.
  6. Go to any bank of your choice to make payment Via Remita Payment Platform or pay using the online Platform.
  7. Return to NMU Portal to complete your Registration.

Important Information

  1. Application form fee is N2,000. Payment is made on the portal.
  2. Candidates should have a functional and accessible e-mail address and mobile phone number for communication.
  3. Candidates with incomplete registration will be automatically disqualified
  4. Only Candidate who meets the minimum requirement as stated above will be invited for screening or proceed to the Next stage
  5. The university has zero tolerance for drug abuse, bullying, or any social violence.
