Who Is Eligible to Apply?
UTME Candidates
- Must have chosen University of Uyo as first choice
- Minimum JAMB score of 150
- At least five (5) O’Level credit passes
- English Language and Mathematics are compulsory
- Results must not exceed two sittings
- Other subjects must be relevant to the intended course
Direct Entry Candidates
- Must have chosen UNIUYO as first choice
- At least two A-Level passes or equivalent qualification
- Five O’Level credits including English and Mathematics

Below is the official online registration and payment procedure for the 2025/2026 screening exercise:
Step 1: Access the Admissions Portal
- Visit https://eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng/
- Click on “Admissions Portal”
OR go directly to https://admissions.uniuyo.edu.ng/ - Click “Apply Now”
Step 2: Create an Account (First-Time Users)
- Click “Create Account”
- Fill in the required details correctly
- Submit the form
- Verify your email to activate your account
Step 3: Login and Make Payment
- Log in with your email and password
- Navigate to the “Application Fee” section
- Select application type:
- Post-UTME or
- Direct Entry
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
- Make payment:
- Online using ATM card, or
- At any commercial bank using the RRR
- Return to the portal and confirm payment
Step 4: Complete the Application Form
- Navigate to “Application Form”
- Click “Start New Application”
- Fill in all required information accurately
- Upload all required documents in PDF format
- Submit the completed application form
Step 5: Print Acknowledgement Slip
- Print the 2025/2026 Screening Exercise Slip
- Keep the printout for reference
