Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has announced the commencement of registration for the 2024 Post UTME screening exercise. Candidates who chose UNIOSUN as their first choice institution in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.
Registration Guidelines
Follow these steps to complete your registration for the UNIOSUN Post-UTME 2024
- Access the Portal:
- Visit the official UNIOSUN Post-UTME portal.
- Payment of Fees:
- Pay a Portal Access Fee of ₦3,000 and a Post-UTME Screening Fee of ₦2,000.
- Payments should be made through the Remita Web PAY Platform using a valid ATM card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve).
- Complete the Application Form:
- Fill out the online application form with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Upload all required documents as specified on the portal.
- Submit and Print:
- After completing the form, submit your application online.
- Print two copies of the completed application form for future reference and documentation.
Requirements for Registration
To be eligible for the registration and screening exercise at UNIOSUN, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- UTME Score:
- A minimum score of 160 marks in the UTME is required for most programs.
- For Nursing, Medicine, Law, and Common and Islamic Law, candidates must have a minimum score of 200 marks.
- Academic Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB.
- These credit passes must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- For Medicine, Nursing, and Law, all five credit passes must be earned in one sitting.
- Direct Entry Candidates:
- Applicants must have purchased the Direct Entry Form from JAMB and register for the screening exercise.
- Awaiting Results:
- Candidates who are awaiting their results must ensure they provide them within one week of release to remain eligible for consideration.
All candidates should verify their eligibility and ensure compliance with the above requirements before proceeding with registration.
Important Notes
- Candidates are advised to upload their O’ Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.
- All candidates who eventually get admitted will undergo mandatory medical examination, which includes screening for drug use.
- Submission of forms closes at 12.00 Noon on Sunday, 13th October 2024.
