The University of Ibadan (UI) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All suitably qualified candidates who selected UI as their institution of choice are invited to apply within the stipulated registration window. UI Post-UTME 2025/2026 Registration Period
- Portal Opens: Monday, 21 July 2025
- Portal Closes: Saturday, 17 August 2025
Only candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2025 UTME are eligible to register for the Post-UTME screening.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the University of Ibadan Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Scored 200 or above in the 2025 UTME
- Chose the University of Ibadan as an institution of choice
- Must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025
- Possess valid and functional email address and phone number
O’Level Requirements
- College of Medicine & Faculty of Pharmacy:
- Five (5) O’Level credits at one sitting in relevant subjects
- Other Faculties:
- Minimum of six (6) credits in relevant subjects (may be from two sittings)
⚠️ Note: The University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB or JUPEP. Accepted qualifications include WAEC, NECO, Cambridge A-Level, NCE, ND, HND, and recognized Degree certificates for Direct Entry candidates.

Step 1: Log in to the Admission Portal

- Username: JAMB Registration Number (e.g. 202412345678EG)
- Password: Your surname (e.g. OYESANMI, CHIBUZOR, UMAR)
Step 2: Make Payment
Candidates are required to pay:
- Portal Access Fee: ₦3,000
- Screening Fee: ₦2,000
