Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, one of Nigeria’s leading federal universities, has opened its portal for the 2025/2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise. The screening is compulsory for candidates seeking admission into the institution and will be conducted entirely online.
Eligibility Requirements for OAU Post-UTME 2025/2026
To be eligible for the OAU Post-UTME screening exercise, candidates must meet the following criteria:
UTME Candidates
- Must have chosen Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife as first choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Must have scored 200 and above in the UTME.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
- Must have applied for Direct Entry admission to OAU.
- Must possess a minimum of Upper Credit in their qualification.
Awaiting Results Candidates
- Candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply.
- Such candidates must upload their results immediately they are released on the portal.

OAU Post-UTME Registration Dates
- Registration Begins: Monday, 21st July 2025
- Registration Ends: Sunday, 24th August 2025
Candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
How to Apply for OAU Post-UTME 2025/2026 (Step-by-Step)
Candidates are required to follow the steps below carefully:
Step 1
Visit the OAU Admissions Portal:

Step 2
Log in using:
- Username: Your JAMB Registration Number
- Password: Your Surname (not case-sensitive)
Step 3
Fill in your biodata form correctly and click Continue.
Step 4
Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) on the portal and use it to make payment:
- Online via Remita, or
- At any commercial bank in Nigeria
Step 5
After successful payment, the system will log you out.
Log in again using Steps 1 and 2 to complete your application.
Post-UTME Screening Details
- The Post-UTME screening will be conducted online.
- Candidates must check their screening schedule on the admissions portal from Thursday, 27th August 2025.
- The screening exercise will take place between 1st and 5th September 2025, based on candidates’ allocated dates and times.
Post-UTME Screening Fee
- The official Post-UTME screening fee is ₦2,000 only,
excluding portal access charges.

- Candidates who provide false information or upload incorrect credentials will be automatically disqualified.
- Obafemi Awolowo University does not recognize or support Post-UTME or admission agents.
