MOAUM Post-UTME 2025/2026: Learn More about Requirements

The Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), formerly known as Benue State University (BSU), has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This screening exercise is aimed at candidates who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and those applying through Direct Entry who selected MOAUM as their first choice institution.

Eligibility and Registration Requirements

To qualify for the MOAUM Post-UTME/DE screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. UTME Score and Choice of Institution

  • Candidates must have scored 160 and above in the 2025 UTME.
  • MOAUM must be chosen as the first choice institution, or candidates must change from another institution to MOAUM via the JAMB portal.

2. O’Level Requirements

  • Candidates must possess five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Results must be obtained at not more than two (2) sittings (UTME candidates only).

The minimum UTME scores for admission consideration are categorized as follows:

    • Radiography and Radiation Science
  • 220 and above
    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
    • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)
    • Bachelor of Law (LL.B)
    • Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (BN. Nursing)

Procedure for MOAUM Post-UTME Application

Candidates are required to follow the steps below carefully:

  1. Visit the University Website
    Go to: www.bsum.edu.ng
  2. Access the Application Portal
    Under the “APPLICATIONS” menu, click on “POST UTME/DE”.
  3. Verify JAMB Registration Number
    Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “VERIFY”.
  4. Proceed to Payment
    After verification, click “PROCEED” to access the e-payment platform.
  5. Make Payment
    Pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.00.
  6. Complete the Application Form
    • Return to www.bsum.edu.ng after payment
    • Click on the Admission menu
    • Select “Continue UTME/DE Application”
    • Fill in the form accurately and print the completed application slip

Mandatory Advisories for Applicants

All applicants should note the following important instructions:

  • Uploading O’Level and A’Level results on the JAMB portal is compulsory. Candidates who fail to do so will not be considered for admission.
  • Candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication are advised to change to other programmes within the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
  • Registered candidates should regularly check the MOAUM website for updates, screening schedules, and further instructions.

Post-UTME Registration Deadline

The MOAUM Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration will run for one month:

  • Start Date: Tuesday, 22nd July, 2025
  • Closing Date: Thursday, 21st August, 2025

Late applications will not be accepted after the deadline.
