Candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise are advised to regularly monitor their admission status to confirm whether they have been offered provisional admission.

How to Check MOAUM Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Candidates can check their MOAUM admission status by following the steps below:

Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
Log in using your JAMB username and password.
Scroll down and click on “Check Admission Status.”
Select “Access My CAPS.”
Click on “Admission Status” to view your result.

Candidates are encouraged to check their status frequently, as admissions are released in batches.

Understanding JAMB CAPS Admission Messages

When checking your MOAUM admission status on JAMB CAPS, you may see any of the following messages:

ADMISSION OFFERED
This means you have been successfully admitted. You should immediately accept or reject the offer on CAPS.
ADMISSION IN PROGRESS (AIP)
Your application is still under review by MOAUM and JAMB. No action is required at this stage.
RECOMMENDED
You have been recommended for admission by the university, pending final approval by JAMB.
NOT ADMITTED
You have not yet been considered for admission. Your status may change as more lists are released.
PENDING
No admission decision has been made yet. Candidates should continue checking periodically.

How to Accept or Reject MOAUM Admission

Candidates who have been offered admission should take the following steps:

Visit any approved JAMB CBT centre listed on the JAMB Authorised Centres page.
Accept or reject the admission via SMS by sending:
- ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using your registered phone number.
After accepting the offer, print your JAMB Admission Letter from the JAMB Admission Letter portal.

Acceptance of admission is mandatory before proceeding with university clearance.

Candidates accessing JAMB CAPS via mobile phones may not see all options on the page. To resolve this:

Open the Chrome browser
Tap the menu (three dots)
Select “Request Desktop Site”

This will allow full access to CAPS features.
