KHAIRUN List of Courses 2024/2025: Admission Requirements

Prospective students aiming to enroll at KHAIRUN for the 2024/2025 academic session must meet the following criteria:

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Candidates:

Achieve a minimum score above the university’s specified cut-off mark.
Obtain at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE (WAEC or NECO) at not more than two sittings.
Select KHAIRUN as their first-choice institution during the UTME registration.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

Possess two A-Level passes or equivalent in relevant subjects.
Alternatively, hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or National Diploma (ND) with Upper Credit, or a National Certificate in Education (NCE) with an overall Credit Pass.

International Students

Provide secondary school external examination results.
Submit transcripts for the last three years of secondary education.
For transfer students, present undergraduate transcripts and course descriptions.
Include a recommendation letter from the previous educational institution.
Write a personal statement.
Provide copies of a national ID card, passport, and visa.
Submit four recent passport-sized photographs.

KHAIRUN Application Process

To apply for admission into KHAIRUN:

1. Visit the official university website and click on ‘APPLY NOW’.

2. Choose the appropriate application type (local or international student).

3. Select the desired degree program.

4. Fill in personal details and create an account using a valid email address.

5. Check your email for a link to set up a password.

6. Log into the application portal and complete the online application form.

7. Upload all required documents.

8. Print the payment invoice and pay the application fee of ₦21,500.

9. Upload proof of payment.

10. Monitor the application status via the dashboard or email for an offer letter.

Tuition Fees and Scholarships

KHAIRUN is a private university integrating Islamic teachings with STEM education. New students are required to pay tuition fees ranging between ₦1.1 million and ₦1.2 million per semester, depending on their faculty. The Abdul Samad Rabiu Foundation offers tuition scholarships for high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds. Both current and new students are eligible to apply.
