FUTIA List of Courses 2024/2025 academic session is updated on this blog. The institution is a technology-focused university in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It was established by the Nigerian government in June 2021 to provide quality education to Nigerian and international students. FUTIA offers several educational services which include undergraduate and graduate degree programs, sooty courses and certifications, research and development, online and distance learning, continuing education and professional development, incubation and entrepreneurship, and career services and placement. The list of courses for undergraduate programs include:
School of Computing & Information Technology (SCIT):

School of Engineering & Engineering Technology (SEET):

All Direct Entry (DE) students will study for a year less than the required number of years for each course. That is, for Physics of 4 years, DE students will study it for 3 years.
FUTIA Post Graduate Programme Requirements
- At least 5 credit passes in WASC, SSCE/GCE, NECO or their equivalent, which must include a credit pass in English and Mathematics.
- Candidates must also possess a minimum of a first degree or HND (Merit pass).
FUTIA Master’s Degree Programme Requirements
- Candidates from reputable universities or other higher education establishments who meet the recommended university matriculation standards and have a good first degree (second class, lower division) with a minimum CGPA of 2.40 or its equivalent in the relevant field may be admitted.
- Candidates who meet the recommended university matriculation requirements and have a recognised university’s good postgraduate diploma or HND and a postgraduate diploma with at least a credit level pass in the relevant field may be admitted.
FUTIA List of Courses 2024/2025 Requirements
To study a course in FUTIA, you must have met all of the following requirements:
- Candidates who wish to study in Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi must be over 16 years of age in the year of admission.
- One of the requirements into Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi; candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and maths at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings in order to be qualified to study at the institution.
- Candidate must beat the current FUTIA cut off mark for all courses, which is 140.
