General Admission Requirements

Admission into the University’s undergraduate programmes is open to candidates who possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes at the O’Level/SSCE (or its equivalent) obtained at not more than two sittings.
These credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics, alongside other relevant subjects.

Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes

Prospective students must satisfy the following requirements before being offered admission into FUNAI:

A. Admission into 100 Level (UTME)

Candidates seeking admission into the 100 Level must:

  • Possess five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects, obtained at not more than two sittings; and
  • Obtain an acceptable score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in relevant subjects.

B. Admission into 200 Level (Direct Entry)

Candidates seeking admission into the 200 Level (Direct Entry) must:

  • Possess five (5) SSCE credit passes as stated above; and
  • Obtain at least two (2) A’ Level passes (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects; or
  • Possess NCE or OND with credit passes; or
  • Possess a good first degree in another relevant field, as applicable.

Additional Requirements

In addition to the general admission requirements stated above, candidates must also meet the specific faculty and departmental requirements for their chosen course of study.
