FUNAI Admission 2025/2026: Apply Now!

This is to inform the general public that registration for the 2025/2026 academic session
Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME)/Direct Entry Screening of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, shall commence on Friday 18^th July, 2025 and end on Friday 29^th August, 2025.

Admission Requirements

For 100 Level (UTME Entry):

• 5 O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics
• UTME score

For Direct Entry:

• 2 A’Level passes or equivalent

MODE OF PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Processing Fee:

• Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000 only.

Registration Steps:

1. Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng
   • Navigate to ADMISSIONS in the top menu or QUICK LINKS.
2. Click on:
   • 2025/2026 UTME Admission Screening OR
   • 2025/2026 Direct Entry Admission Screening
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
4. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number.
5. Make payment at any bank using your Remita number.
6. Return to the application page and enter your JAMB Registration Number again.
7. Complete the application form.
8. Submit your application.
9. Print out your acknowledgement slip.

Screening Information:

• The screening for the 2025/2026 PUTME session will be conducted through internal screening of candidates’ results.

Important Note:

• All candidates must ensure their O/Level and Direct Entry results are uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Friday, 29th August 2025.
• PUTME applications without O’Level/A’Level results uploaded on JAMB CAPS will not be processed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1. Change of Institution/Course:
   • Prospective candidates who did not choose AE-FUNAI as their first-choice institution but wish to study there are eligible to apply for PUTME.
   • Such candidates must effect Change of Institution/Course to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB Portal on or before Friday, 29th August 2025.
   • This also applies to Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
   • After this date, the access portal for change of university/programme on JAMB CAPS will no longer be available for AE-FUNAI.
2. Programme-Specific Requirements:
   • Candidates for Medicine and Surgery and Nursing Science must have obtained their O’Level results in one sitting.
   • All candidates should adhere to the UTME and O’Level subject requirements, available on the University website.
3. Registration via AE-FUNAI ICT Centres:
   • Candidates who wish to register for Post-UTME through AE-FUNAI ICT Centres may visit:
     • University CBT Centre at Zone A, University Campus OR
     • Centre for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki
   • During registration, candidates are advised to use GSM numbers that are easily accessible for fast and efficient communication.
4. Important Notice:
   • At any point during the screening and admission process, if false information is discovered, the candidate’s application will be automatically disqualified.
