FPNO Course List 2024/2025: Admission Requirements
National Diploma Requirements
- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Score:Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 140 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
- O’Level Results: Applicants are required to have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings. Importantly, credit passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory for all courses.
- Combination of Examination Bodies: The institution specifies acceptable combinations of O’Level results: Combining NABTEB with WAEC or NECO is not permitted. NABTEB results can only be combined with NABTEB. NECO results can be combined with WAEC.
- Awaiting Results: Candidates with pending O’Level results are not eligible to apply.
Higher National Diploma Requirements
- Candidates must possess a National Diploma certificate with good credit points either from Federal Polytechnic Nekede or from any other recognized Polytechnic
- Candidate must obtain an Industrial Attachment certificate (IT)
