Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki, has officially released the 2025/2026 admission list for candidates who participated in the Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise. The admission list contains the names of successful candidates offered provisional admission into various undergraduate programmes of the university.
How to Check the EBSU Admission List 2025/2026
Checking your admission status is simple and straightforward. Follow the steps below:
- Visit the EBSU Admission Status Portal.
- Select the 2025/2026 academic session from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your JAMB registration number in the required field.
- Click Proceed to view your admission status.
For candidates who prefer to view the full list, the university may also publish the admission list in PDF format, which can be downloaded and searched for your name.
What to Do If You Are Admitted
Receiving admission is an important milestone, but there are essential steps you must complete promptly to secure your place.
1. Pay the Acceptance Fee
Successful candidates are required to pay an acceptance fee of ₦30,050 via the Remita platform at any approved bank within two (2) weeks of the admission offer.
Failure to make payment within the specified period may result in forfeiture of the admission.
2. Create Your Portal Account
After paying the acceptance fee, proceed to the school portal to create your student account and continue the registration process.
3. Complete Physical Clearance
Visit the School Office with your required documents for verification. You will receive registration papers and clearance to proceed with school fees payment.
4. Complete Registration
All admitted candidates must finalize their registration within one (1) month of accepting the admission offer. Delays beyond this period may lead to withdrawal of admission.
Important Notice
Any false declaration or inconsistency in submitted documents may result in withdrawal of admission. Accuracy and honesty are strongly advised throughout the process.
Confirming Admission Through JAMB CAPS
It is important to confirm your admission on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Follow these steps:
- Visit the JAMB E-Facility portal.
- Log in using your registered username and password.
- Scroll and select Check Admission Status.
- Click Access my CAPS.
- Select Admission Status to view your admission offer.
- Accept the admission and print your JAMB Admission Letter.
Confirming your admission on CAPS is mandatory, as it validates your admission at the national level.
