BSU Post UTME 2024: Registration Guidelines, Cut-Off Mark, and Screening Dates

BSU Post UTME 2024: Benue State University (BSU) has announced its Post UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session. This article provides guidelines on registration, eligibility, cut-off mark, and screening dates.

Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates:

UTME score of 140 or higher
Chose BSU as your first choice institution
Five O’level credits, including English and Mathematics

Direct Entry Candidates:

Minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) or Merit in Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
Relevant A’level passes or equivalent
Five O’level credits, including English and Mathematics

These requirements are for candidates applying to BSU through UTME or Direct Entry pathways.

Registration Procedure

Follow these steps to complete your pre-admissions registration and screening:

Visit the BSU Website: Go to https://bsum.edu.ng and click on the “Admissions” menu.
Select “Post UTME/DE”: Under the “APPLICATIONS” section, click on “Post UTME/DE”.
Enter Your JAMB Registration Number: Input your JAMB Registration Number and click on “Verify”.
Verify Your Status: Once your status is verified, click on “PROCEED” to access the E-Payment Platform.
Make Payment: Pay the required ₦2,000 screening fee. You can make payment via:
- Cash at any bank of your choice
- Online through Quick Teller
Complete Biodata and Upload Documents: After payment, return to the BSU website:
- Click on “ADMISSIONS” and select “Upload Documents for PUTME”.
- Enter your Registration Number and proceed to complete your Biodata and other required sections.
Upload Required Documents: Upload necessary documents such as:
- WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificates or Statement of Results (not online slips)
Final Step: If you are not screened within the stipulated period, visit the Academic Office for assistance.
