AU Course List 2024/2025: Admission Requirements
Prospective students must meet specific criteria to gain admission into AU’s undergraduate programs
- A minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
- A satisfactory score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), typically 140 or higher, depending on the chosen program.
- A minimum age of 16 is required to gain admission into any university in Nigeria.
- For Direct Entry candidates, an Upper Credit or equivalent qualification in relevant disciplines from recognized institutions is required.
- Also, all candidates should register AU as first choice of institution.

Candidates scoring 140 and above are directed to process necessary documents for screening. These documents include:
- JAMB original result
- Jamb admission letter
- Primary School Certificate
- Secondary School Statement of Result
- School Offer of Admission
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Origin
- Acceptance Fees Receipt
- 10 passport sized photographs
- SSCE original result.
