UNN Post-UTME 2025/2026: Registration, and Guidelines

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially opened its Post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. This exercise is for candidates who selected UNN as their first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME and scored at least 160.   4. Direct Entry candidates must have NCE, OND, HND, or equivalent qualifications. Results must be verified by NIPEDS.
  5. Candidates under 16 years of age by September 30, 2025, are ineligible.
  6. Applicants awaiting Nov/Dec 2025 NECO or GCE results are not eligible.
  7. Ensure O’Level and JAMB names match exactly. No corrections are allowed after submission.

  • Screening Fee: ₦2,000
  • Payment can be made via Remita at any commercial bank or online using an ATM card.

Step-by-Step Registration Procedure

Follow these steps carefully to complete your UNN Post-UTME registration:

  1. Visit the UNN official website: www.unn.edu.ng
  2. Click on UNN Portal (top-right corner) → Prospective StudentsOnline Application Form for 2025/2026 Admission Screening.
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and generate a payment invoice.
  4. Pay the screening fee at a bank or online using your ATM card.
  5. Return to the portal, enter your JAMB number, and fill in your date of birth, personal information, and verified O’Level results.
  6. Provide your exam number and center, then upload the required documents (each file ≤ 100KB):
    • Birth Certificate
    • Local Government Certificate
    • Primary School Testimonial
    • First School Leaving Certificate
    • JAMB Result Slip
    • O’Level results (single or double sitting)
    • Direct Entry result (if applicable)
  7. Review all information and submit your application. No edits can be made after submission.
  8. Print out your acknowledgment slip.

Direct Entry Applicants

Candidates applying through Direct Entry (DE) must also register on the portal. DE results must be verified by NIPEDS to be accepted.
