Applications are invited from qualified and interested members of the public for admission into the 12th Regular Course Degree Programmesof the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State. The online application portal will be opened for the period of six weeks, from 28th July, 2025 to 8th September, 2025, where prospective applicants are required to complete the online application forms.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The admission requirements for the online application are as follows:
- Nationality and Examination Details
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and must possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN). Candidates are required to present a 2025 JAMB result with a minimum score of 180, and must have selected the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as their first choice institution. - Academic Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of six (6) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent examinations, obtained in not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics. - Age Requirement
Applicants must be between 16 and 21 years of age as of 31st October, 2025. - Medical and Physical Fitness
Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.- Minimum height: 1.67 meters for males and 1.64 meters for females.
- Chest Measurement (Male Applicants Only)
Male applicants must have a minimum expanded chest measurement of 86 cm (34 inches). - Marital Status
All applicants must be single and must not be pregnant at the time of admission. - Contact Information

SSCE statements of results or certificates for examinations taken before 2021 will not be accepted.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Online Application and Payment
Interested applicants are advised to visit the Nigeria Police Academy website at www.admission.polac.edu.ng to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code.
The RRR code should be used to make a non-refundable payment of Six Thousand Naira (₦6,000.00) only, which includes ₦2,000 for the Post-UTME examination, through any commercial bank branch in Nigeria. Upon successful payment, applicants will be able to complete the online application form. Applicants are also required to upload scanned copies of the following documents:- SSCE result
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Certificate of Origin
APTITUDE TEST
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
All applicants will undergo a Computer-Based Aptitude Test at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil ICT Centre.
The date of the test will be communicated later.
AUTOMATED PHYSICAL SCREENING EXERCISE
- Physical Screening
i. Applicants who meet the required CBT cut-off mark will be invited for an Automated Physical Screening Exercise at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State. The date will be communicated later. ii. Applicants are required to present the original copies of the following documents during the screening:- Educational qualifications
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Evidence of physical and mental fitness from a government-recognized hospital
- Evidence of good character from a village or district head
- Indigene Certificate signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
- Guarantor Form signed by:
- A Public Servant not below Grade Level 13, or
- A Police Officer not below the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), or
- An equivalent officer from the Armed Forces or other paramilitary services
AUTOMATED MEDICAL SCREENING
- Applicants who successfully pass the Aptitude Test will be invited for Automated Medical Screening at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.
AUTOMATED INTERVIEW / SELECTION EXERCISE
- Successful applicants will further undergo an Automated Interview/Selection Exercise.
NOTIFICATION AND TRAINING
- All successful applicants will be notified via their email addresses and SMS.
- Training of successful candidates will commence at the Academy on a date to be communicated later.
