MAUTECH, Yola Post UTME 2025/2026: Apply Now

Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola (MAUTECH) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for participation in the 2025/2026 academic session Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

ELIGIBILITY

The registration and screening exercise is open to the following candidates:

1. UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who applied for admission into Modibbo Adama University, Yola as their First Choice institution for the 2025/2026 academic session and scored 160 and above in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
2. Candidates who did not initially select Modibbo Adama University, Yola as their first choice but wish to apply may do so after changing their institution to MAUTECH as First Choice at any JAMB CBT Centre or JAMB Office nationwide, and subsequently register for the online screening exercise.

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FOR THE SCREENING

The screening exercise will be conducted online. Candidates are to follow the steps outlined below carefully:

A. ACCESSING THE APPLICATION PORTAL

1. Visit the University Application Portal directly via:

OR

2. Visit the University website:
   👉 https://mau.edu.ng
   • Click on “Undergraduate Admissions” under “Quick Links and Portals” on the homepage.
   • Click on “Apply Here” to begin registration.

B. REGISTRATION PROCESS

3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number for verification.
4. Provide your basic details including:
   • Phone number
   • Active email address
   • Mode of entry (UTME or Direct Entry)
   • Programme of choice
5. Create a password, confirm it, and click “Register” to proceed.

📌 Note: A valid and active email address is required.

6. A confirmation link will be sent instantly to your email address.
7. Click the confirmation link to log in and complete the application.

C. PAYMENT PROCEDURE

8. Click on “Click to Make Payment” to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
9. Select “Proceed to Payment” and choose a preferred payment option.
10. Pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.00
    (excluding Remita, VAT, and other applicable charges).
11. Obtain and keep your payment transaction slip.

D. DOCUMENT UPLOAD & FORM COMPLETION

12. Upload the following:

• Recent passport photograph
  (Max size: 150KB; File types: PNG, JPG, JPEG)
• Formal signature

13. Upload your O’Level results, starting with your best five (5) relevant subjects, in line with JAMB brochure requirements for MAU.

• Results must not exceed two (2) sittings.
• Enter valid result checker scratch card details for verification.

14. Fill in other required information including:

• Next of Kin details
• Parent/Guardian information
• Personal data and address

15. Upload all required documents:

• O’Level result
• Indigene form
• Birth Certificate

E. SUBMISSION

16. Carefully review all entries and attest that the information provided is correct.
17. Click on “Submit” to complete the application.
18. Print out your application slip for record purposes.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Payment can be made online using an ATM card or at any commercial bank nationwide. Candidates are not required to travel to MAU, Yola for payment.
2. The screening test schedule will be announced in due course.
3. Candidates offered provisional admission who submit false information will be automatically disqualified and may be liable to prosecution.
4. Candidates must ensure that their SSCE and/or ‘A’ Level results are uploaded on the JAMB Portal, failure of which may result in non-consideration for admission.
